The key ingredients for the perfect brunch spot are ambiance, good food, and friendly service. Willow & Whisk serves up all three in spades. As we were being led to our table, we couldn't stop saying things like, "This is so nice!" or "Wow, this space is so cute." It's a brightly lit space, made to feel more open with huge windows and a flowering tree in the middle. On the flip side, this is a place that attracts the crowds, so prepare for long waits - especially on weekends. We waited close to an hour for a table for Sunday brunch. The menu offers up some tantalizing eats with a strong emphasis on the breakfast game. Since it was later in the day, we all went with sandwiches and salads, but it didn't stop me from glancing enviously at the beautiful, fluffy pancakes at a neighboring table. My chicken caprese sandwich was delicious, with a heartily sized, perfectly grilled chicken. Another couple ordered their burgers, which also looked amazing. If there was any fault, the fries were cold and oversalted. Service is great. Our server stopped by our table frequently to check on us or clear away dishes, and there was no overt pressure to finish or hurry our meal.

Very busy place, even on weekdays. The tables are very close, so you will be hearing your neighbor's convos and probably chatting with them at some point. Beautifully designed restaurant, and the service was excellent. Food was also very good, with fresh ingredients and nice presentation. A tad pricey, but that seems to be the trend these days, with this type of aesthetic. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu, probably during the week when it's a little easier to get a table.

Thank you, Willow & Whisk! As first-time visitors, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at 9:30am. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was truly superb. We understand peak hours can be busy and might lead to longer waits, but that only adds to the lively atmosphere. We highly recommend this amazing venue and can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

Festive Vibe, Fantastic Food, and Friendly Service! Willow & Whisk is an absolute gem nestled in the rustic Short Hills downtown. From the moment we walked in, the interior impressed us--it's festive, beautifully decorated, and creates such an amazing, positive vibe. Tip: Best to have a reservation for your meal. Our experience was elevated by our waitress, who was genuinely friendly and incredibly nice, making our entire family feel welcome. The food was uniformly excellent. We started with the Greek Yogurt Bowl (granola and berries) which was perfectly yummy and fresh. We also ordered the Shishito Peppers (my sister grabbed them quick!), which were nice and served with a zesty dip and a slice of lemon. Here's what everyone loved for their main dishes: * My Daughter's Pick: The So-Cal Breakfast Bowl was a huge hit! It came piled high with breakfast potatoes, black beans, pico de gallo, sharp Wisconsin cheddar, and a sunny-side up egg, all finished with a roasted tomato aioli. She raved about it. * My Son's Choice: He kept it classic with the Willow Burger and a side of fresh fruit, and gave it two thumbs up. * My Wife's Dish: She thoroughly enjoyed her Turkey Panini Sandwich on ciabatta bread with a side house salad. The sandwich was sophisticated, featuring sliced roasted turkey, Asian pear, fontina, arugula, and a subtle strawberry-balsamic glaze--a perfect mix of savory and sweet. * My Meal: I went for the Black Garlic Burger (bacon-onion jam, arugula, manchego cheese, black garlic aioli, brioche bun). It was incredibly juicy and flavorful--definitely a standout burger! For drinks, the Maple Harvest Latte (flavored with cardamom) was warm, unique, and truly nice. We highly recommend Willow & Whisk for anyone looking for a wonderful, high-quality family meal in a beautiful setting. We can't wait to go back!

Willow & Wisk is hands down one of my favorite spotsβ€”and I highly recommend it! The food is consistently amazing every single time I go, and I’m always looking for an excuse to return or bring someone new along. My usual go-to is the gluten-free Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, which are by far some of the best GF pancakes I’ve ever had. The bacon is always perfectly crisp, and the coffee? Incredible. I especially love the Lavender Latte in the fall and winter, and the Oat & Honey Latte is a year-round favorite. Their juices are also super fresh and flavorful. And you cannot go without trying the Mini Brioche French Toastβ€”it’s seriously next-level. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and perfect for birthdays with the girls, brunch with family, or catching up with friends. It's also BYOB, so bring a bottle if you want mimosas or something fun to sip on. One thing to noteβ€”they do not take reservations, so plan ahead and expect anywhere from a 20 to 40-minute wait during peak times. But trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. This place never disappoints!

THANK YOU Willow & Whisk! We're first timers and went for breakfast at 9:30am on Monday. Delicious food, excellent service and terrific ambiance. Yes I can imagine this place getting very busy during peak hours with long wait times, however, that's to be expected. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.
